A Gnostic Cycle was part of a group exhibition at the Wright Museum, (Beloit, WI) titled Wake in April/May 2010. A suspended, modern-day mandala, A Gnostic Cycle was constructed from a mix of steel, human hair, eggs, ladybirds, thorns and other miscellaneous materials. It is roughly 5 feet from its highest point to its lowest point and 5 feet in the diameter at the largest, bottom-most circle. A Gnostic Cycle is a visual commentary on the youth of the Western communities today searching for alternative methods, such as drugs, in order to fulfill the process of gnostic inner illumination/individuation.

Solo exhibition at Sika Gallery in Bali, Indonesia, in January 2011.

A Symbolic Decline explored the human obsession with progression versus the primal urge for ritual and spirituality.

Images from the exhibition are below. In general, these pieces were larger installation pieces ranging from 60 centimeters in length to 2 metres or more. Unfortunately, titles and dimensions cannot be inputted at this time. Check back soon for details on each piece or email me (avelire@gmail.com) if you have any questions.
